Sue Thexton

Managing Director

Sue has been the Managing Director and Executive Vice President of OneFile for just over a year, having taken over from the founder when the business was sold to Canadian company, Harris. Prior to that Sue had been hired as the Chief Revenue Officer in November 2021.

Hailing originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Sue’s early career started as a graphic designer, gaining a degree at Kingston University. But a love of creative technology led to her setting up the UK subsidiary of Adobe from scratch and building it up to a multi-million-pound organisation. This started a career with technology companies, growing European and global businesses in scale, having established that business growth expertise was transferable from sector to sector.

Education has always been a driving force within each of these areas working with young people at colleges and universities to understand technology in order to equip them for life in the working environment. For a number of years Sue was a Trustee of NESTA, the National Endowment of Science, Technology and the Arts set up by Lord Puttnam. He also invited Sue to join the committee at BAFTA to launch the Interactive Awards, which she then chaired for 10 years, also serving on the TV, Archive and Learning & Events committees as well as being elected to the main BAFTA board. She is a Visiting Professor at Middlesex University and has served as a Board member at the London Metropolitan University.
