What you’ll be doing: 

As a Regional Business Development Manager at OneFile, you will be responsible for generating sales, promoting our products and services, and driving growth of the company’s revenue. You'll be responsible for generating sales through new customers and additional revenue from customers in their first year of deployment. 


  • All revenue from new business within the territory resulting from new customer acquisition and expansion of customer revenue within the first year 
  • Engagement with the customer through appropriate means – at their premises (when permitted), phone, conference calls etc. and deliver face-to-face sales presentations and demonstrations (currently taking place via MS Teams) 
  • Work with the Sales Prospector/Qualifier to drive lead conversion 
  • Respond promptly to new sales lead enquiries and actively seek out strategic opportunities 
  • Manage clients through the sales process and perform follow up duties 
  • Manage weekly sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts 
  • Complete tenders and work collaboratively with other stakeholders in the business 
  • Attend events and exhibitions to promote the OneFile brand 
  • Network at face-to-face and online meetings to create new opportunities for business 
  • Provide regular feedback to the team about marketplace and competitor activity  
  • Build partnerships with key accounts and other regional industry organisations 
  • Explore new market sectors and build plans 
  • Generate renewal sales revenue 

Skills, know-how and experience:

  • Proven experience working in a customer-centric environment 
  • Have personally closed sales opportunities with customers 
  • Outstanding communication skills including superb written and spoken English 
  • Excellent computer literacy and internet knowledge 
  • Confidence to present a tailored presentation to potential customers by effectively using a range of presentation skills, including online presentation/webinar forums 
  • Demonstrable experience of Salesforce or an equivalent CRM system 
  • Confidence with technology – initiative to work with software packages and IT equipment 
  • An ability to work well under pressure; and within a changing business environment 
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for visits/demonstrations 
  • Full UK driving licence
