Junior test analyst

What you’ll be doing:

As our junior test analyst, you’ll work with the Quality Assurance team to deliver high-quality testing services across all our software solutions. You’ll be responsible for providing objective feedback on defects – including defect reports and regression testing. You’ll be part of a dynamic development team and will work with agile squads to support the software release cycle. You’ll be spinning a lot of plates, working on different projects with different colleagues at once. Produce high-quality defect reports in-line with guidelines  Promote quality assurance and the impact it has on the software Provide objective feedback to software development teams including detailed document analysis Run regression tests, provide reporting metrics and support software test analysts Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.

What we’re looking for:

Knowledge of eportfolios and apprenticeships (desirable) Basic testing principles Experience using a defect tracking tool  Strong verbal and written communication skills   Problem-solving skills  Experience multi-taking and delivering work to deadline High attention to detail  Experience using testing devices – Apple and Windows operating systems Experience working in a software-based environment  Self-motivated team player Experience owning projects and tasks (desirable)
